<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article describes armed conflicts on the territory of Iraq and Afghanistan. Improvement of individual and collective protection equipment has reduced the number of cases of soft tissue wounds in the extremities. The main cause of mortality and wound complications is antibiotic-resistant microflora. Purulent complications lead to chronic treatment of the wound healing process and a long period of specialized treatment and rehabilitation, which entails difficulties in the socialization of wounded servicemen, as well as significant financial costs from the state. When providing medical care to wounded military personnel, it is negative pressure wound therapy. Phage therapy is a promising method for treating infectious complications.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>локальные военные конфликты</kwd><kwd>боевая травма</kwd><kwd>инфекция</kwd><kwd>местные раневые осложнения</kwd><kwd>ампутация</kwd><kwd>госпитальная микрофлора</kwd><kwd>патогенны ESKAPE</kwd><kwd>терапия отрицательным давлением</kwd><kwd>фаготерапия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>local military conflicts</kwd><kwd>combat trauma</kwd><kwd>infection</kwd><kwd>local wound complications</kwd><kwd>amputation</kwd><kwd>hospital microflora</kwd><kwd>ESKAPEpatho-gens</kwd><kwd>negative pressure wound therapy</kwd><kwd>phage therapy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Holcomb J.
